I was honestly stunned by how bad this game is. I had a PC version of Risk a few years ago that was awesome. But this game is a disaster. I bought it on an impulse without even reading the reviews first. At only $3.99, I felt I had little to lose. But even as cheap as it was I regret the purchase.. It's hard to believe I've spent as much time as I have on this game, but it is a classic. I will keep coming back.. This game is a hunk of crap. Worth 1 or 2 dollars at best, not 10. Another scam by EA games, a cancer of our industry. No online, terrible UI, no depth to game set up, terrible AI, etc etc.Don't buy it.. So I played this game thinking perhaps that it would be something simialr to the adaptation released on the PS1. Sadly I was very mistaken. It's very simple, multiplayer has to be done on the same computer (I can get that for PS1 but on a PC? LAN should at least be an option). To top it off, the 'dice' rolls are blatantly rigged in the favour of the computer opponents. Even accounting for the base game's bias toward a defender, it's staggering how blatantly the computer loads these digitial dice. All in all, for a digitial game of risk, you'd be better dusting off that PS1 and firing it up. At least it also had plentiful maps and game modes.. You should rather buy risk faction!. Good game for world domination :D Need more players thow or make it multiplayer would be great. This is not even the whole game! You aren't able to pick where you want to place your troops as far as what country OR how many. You enter into the middle of someone else's game to begin with. One of the most important parts of the game of Risk is choosing your territories and where you put your troops. In this BS version you start out having had someone who is really dumb choose this for you and now that you are set up for failure let's begin the game! I want my money back! Deploy 9.99 back to my account immediately! Steam needs to remove this POS from its store.. Great implementation of tabletop classic..
